Since the formation of James Progithin International in 1986 as a U.K. based design consortium, location and focus changes have reflected the vision of its founder, now the President and Principal Mining Engineer, Dr. Tim Joseph.

In 2000, the incorporation of James Progithin International Ltd. (JPi) in Canada established JPi as a world leader in mining equipment performance specializing in ground – equipment interactions.
